We do not send out email confirmations when you register a player. instead in a couple of days, check the advanced registration list for your player's name. if all the information is correct, the player is ready. if something is wrong (wrong uscf id or school or bye, etc) email info@dallaschess.com with the correct information. Saturday September 1 no need to come to registration. round 1 starts at 10:20 am so plan to arrive at the pairing boards at 10:10 am to learn board number and color for round 1. We provide board and chess sets and notation sheets. Bring your own clock but don't worry if you don't have one. Your opponent might have a clock. You can purchase one at the vendor store. Otherwise play the game without one. if the game starts to go long, the td will bring a clock to your board and you are expected to use it. Ask if you don't know how to use the clock.

K-12 Scholastic on Saturday, 9/1. 5-SS, G/30, d/5, EF: $31 by 8/24, $46 thereafter; Pre-reg. requires pre-payment. After 8/29/17 all registration and changes on site only; all changes $10 after 8/29/18. No refunds after 8/29/18, $10 handling fee for refunds before 8/30/18. Entries do not count toward base in Under 24, Reserve and Novice. Registration: 9:15-9:45 am, Rd. 1 at 10:20 am, rest ASAP with small lunch break. Sections: K-12 Championship and K-12 U1000. Prizes: Trophies to top 12 individuals, five teams in each section. K-12 U1000 also top three unrateds. Medals to Players who do not win a trophy.
